Help Others with a Prepared Meal

posted Mar 26, 2015, 10:56 AM by Jesse Griffin

The Deacon Board invites you to minister to others by preparing a frozen dinner they could use to take to those who are in need. This is a special blessing for many who are in need, some who are recovering from surgery. Please leave your prepared meals in the new kitchen freezer, in disposable pans, marked for the Deacon Board. Thank you for blessing the body of Christ with this gift!

- Dianne Stille is leading a Bible Study on the Chronological Life of Christ. This will be a study in all four Gospels, focusing on the traits of Jesus and thus God. This includes getting to know God better, how Jesus trained disciples and dealt with their shortcomings, the way He dealt and deals with people. We will meet on Thursday mornings and start February 5th at 9:30 am (childcare available). Please call in a reservation or sign up at the Information Desk. Please let us know if you need childcare.

- To Live is Christ: The Life and Ministry of Paul, a Bible Study by Beth Moore, will begin Tuesday evening, February 17th. Paul provides us an example of sold-out servanthood. He understood what it meant to die daily, crucified with Christ. Study book will be optional. There is a sign up at the Information Desk. For more information, contact Diane Holmberg or the church office.

- Michelle Leonard is leading a Kay Arthur Precept study on James, "James: A Faith that is Real." It's held on Tuesday evenings from 6:30 - 9:00 pm or Thursday mornings from 9:00 - 11:00 am. Childcare is provided for the morning study, but not the evening study.
