X-Stream Youth Back To School Breakout Sept 9 6-9PM

posted Sep 1, 2015, 2:35 PM by Jason Newby

Join us September 9th as we take a break from our regular youth group grind.  We'll be heading over to The Summit in Windsor for a little bowling, laser tag, and games.  The bus leaves at 6:00PM so get here early!  It will be a little bit later night as well.  Tell your parents we'll be back by 9:00PM.  If they would like to pick you up earlier, or drop you off later they may do so at the Summit in Windsor.

All students are required to have a Youth Group Waiver Release on file.  If you've filled one out in the past, you don't need another one.

Precepts Covenant Study
See this incredible thread running from Genesis through Revelation. God enters into a binding agreement with His people and always keeps His promises. Trusting Him as a covenant partner frees us from the bondage of worry and anxiety. This study will transform the way you read the Scriptures! This class, led by Michelle Leonard, will be held Tuesday evenings, 6:30-9:00 and Thursday mornings, 9:00-11:30. For more information or to sign up, please call Michelle at 454-2268.

Living Well
This class is for women interested in healthy living and honoring God by strengthening their bodies and souls! Beginning August 31 we will start the Daniel Plan. The Daniel Plan is a groundbreaking healthy lifestyle program founded on biblical principles and focused on The Essentials: Faith, Food, Fitness, Focus and Friends. The program offers an innovative approach to achieving a healthy lifestyle where people get better together by optimizing their health in each of these life areas. Each essential supports and influences the others, offering a practical step-by-step approach for anyone to follow. We meet each Monday evening. At 6:00, we offer a place to walk, 6:30-7:30 is class time. For more information contact Doris Meeker, 454-3411.

Discerning the Voice of God: How to Recognize when God Speaks
“I know the Lord is speaking to me when…” Discerning the Voice of God is a study by Priscilla Shirer. Although the study cannot give you a formula by which you can discern God’s voice with 100 percent accuracy, you will be challenged to better hear the voice of God. The study, with five days of individual study each week (about 30 minutes daily), will be held Tuesday evenings, 6:30 – 8:30, September 15 – November 3. For more information, contact Diane Holmberg, 454-3749.

Our mom's group, MUGGs (Mothers Understanding God's Grace), will be starting up the second Tuesday of September, 9/8, at 9am! We'll be studying Boundaries with Kids, a study on how to instill responsibility, self-control, and freedom in the hearts of our children. Please come join our fellowship time as we live out motherhood together.

MUGGs stands for Moms Understanding God's Grace. We meet from 9:00 to 11:15 a.m., the 2nd Tuesday of every month, September through May. Meeting times include fellowship with other Moms during both casual conversation and discussions, and brunch is served! Each month we look forward to sharing from God's Word about the issues we face as Moms by our Mentor Moms. Childcare is provided through our Half-Pints program and is available for children from birth through twelve years old. Homeschoolers are welcome!

For more information, please see our MUGGs page or contact Beccy Kirkpatrick

Register for our Master's Open 2015!

We are making plans for our annual Master’s Open Charity Golf Tournament! This tournament continues to be a success each year because of the incredible support we get from our sponsors around Weld County. Thank you!

Proceeds from the tournament this year will again go to help with the Youth Camps in Haiti directed by Global Outreach and run by Chris and Sheryl Brumley. They want to convey their appreciation to all of you who have helped make this charity tournament such a success each year:

Thank you so much to our Eaton family for your generosity throughout the year, and especially for what the Golf Tournament was able to accomplish. The funds you raised are able to pay the entire year’s salary for our Haitian Camp Director, all training expenses for our 18-member leadership team and even some left to help purchase beds and mattresses for the new dormitory! God's blessings are always undeserved and we are so grateful and thankful for the way you have blessed us.

The 2015 Tournament will be held Saturday, August 22nd at Boomerang Golf Course in Greeley. Register to play here
If you would like to sponsor a hole, please call Jeff Urwiller, 454-3411. 1/2 hole is $100 / Full hole is $180.
