Elders

Some visitors to this page may wonder who our Elders are and what it is that they do. This page serves to help answer both of those questions. Acts 20:17-35 & I Peter 5:1-4 are two of the passages, in the New Testament, which deal with the roles and responsibilities of an Elder; while I Timothy 3:1-7 & Titus 1:5-9 describe the character that should be reflected in their lives.

As Paul Tripp reminds us, in Instruments In The Redeemer’s Hands, we all are those in need of help seeking to help others in need! That truth, coupled with our sense of biblical responsibility to care for and protect the flock of God known as the Evangelical Free Church of Eaton, drives our desire to be available to each one for prayer and spiritual assistance.
