MUGGs: Moms Understanding God's Grace
We recognize that Moms have unique spiritual and emotional needs. MUGGs was created with these special needs in mind. Our hope and prayer is to provide a place of welcome, fellowship, fun, and encouragement for all Moms of children living at home. MUGGs stands for Moms Understanding God's Grace.
MUGGs meets from 9:00 AM to 11:15 AM the 2nd Tuesday of every month, September through May. Meeting times include fellowship with other moms during both casual conversation and discussions. Brunch is served! Each month we look forward to sharing from God's Word about the issues we face as mothers from our great group of Mentor Moms.
Childcare is provided on-site through our Half-Pints Program and is available for all children - birth through school age. Homeschoolers are welcome!
Your first meeting is free, and there after each meeting is $6.00; or the semester is $20.00. Scholarships are available- please see a member of the Stirring Team for more information.
This year, the first woman, Eve will also be the first in our study of women of the Bible. Our mentor Moms will focus on a different biblical woman each month, giving us insight into just where we fit in God's plan, and how God will help us meet the challenges of womanhood today.
Through our common bond as moms, we hope to build one another up and support each other during this special season of our lives. We'd love to have you join us! Please call Beccy Kirkpatrick at 454-0941 if you have further questions, or call the church office: 454-3411.
