Psalm 103

Good Morning “One Road Taker.”  Today we are in Psalm 103.

“Bless the Lord, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name!” Psalms‬ ‭103‬:‭1‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Sounds familiar doesn’t it?  That’s because the song we’ve become familiar with singing in church comes right out of David’s heart as quoted in this Psalm.  David praises The Lord for His loving kindness and incredible grace and mercy.

“The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in mercy.” Psalms‬ ‭103‬:‭8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

He withholds the judgment we deserve, at least to the level we actually deserve it, and instead showers us with His love.  He has redeemed us from judgment!  “As far as the east is from the west, So far has He removed our transgressions from us.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭103‬:‭12‬ ‭NKJV‬‬. We are no longer condemned (Romans 8:1).

Through the blood of Jesus, this is the offer before us.  Our God is set apart from all other false gods in that there is nothing we can do to earn our place with Him.  Nothing we can do to earn forgiveness and redemption.  He does it all!  We must only truly believe and receive.  Humbly surrender to Him.  Other religions based on false gods promise a “you give and you get” type of relationship.  It feeds into the world’s fleshly way of thinking… but contrary to the hopes of many, all roads do not lead to heaven (John 14:6).

There’s One Road.  One Way, and The Way is Good, and Merciful, and Loving and Just, and Forgiving, and Blesses Abundantly, in fact Jesus is ALL we need (Philippians 4:19) why would anyone look for anything more?   It’s a fair question? (Romans 3:23, 6:23, 5:8, 10:9, 8:1)

Love you all!  Dig in!
