Habakkuk 3

Good Morning “Transformed”.  Today we are in Habakkuk 3.

What a transformation we see in Habakkuk as we read this book.  He begins with questions… questions God answers with His Word.  For Habakkuk it is the direct spoken Word of God.  It is Gods Word that reminds him Who is in control.  It is Gods Word that reminds Him that repentance brings restoration.  It is Gods Word that makes clear - justice will be served.  Habakkuk need not fear the trials of life for God provides strength for our endurance.

Check out Habakkuk’s conclusion…
“yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will be joyful in God my Savior. The Sovereign Lord is my strength; he makes my feet like the feet of a deer, he enables me to tread on the heights…” Habakkuk‬ ‭3‬:‭18‬-‭19‬a NIV‬‬

As we struggle through life, where do we turn for answers?  Our attitude in the struggle is shaped by where we seek comforting answers.  It is our attitude in the trial that speaks of Who we serve and where others may seek peace and comfort.  Habakkuk lived Romans 12:2.  He renewed his mind with The Word of God and was transformed. Surely Paul had passages like Habakkuk’s on his mind when God gave us such verses as Philippians 4:4-9.

Love you all!  Dig in and live it out!
