Isaiah 32

Good Morning “Princes and Princesses.”  Today we are in Isaiah 32.

“Behold, a king will reign righteously And princes will rule justly.” Isaiah‬ ‭32‬:‭1‬ ‭NASB1995‬‬

Isaiah begins by describing a time when a King will reign in righteousness and prince’s justly.  In a world wrought with sin… when have we ever seen that, really?  So we understand Isaiah must once again be talking about the Millennial Kingdom.  Indeed Christ will rule, in perfect righteousness, and the princes… who might they be?  Check Revelation 20:4-6.

Here’s something cool to think about!  The Prophet Ezekiel spoke of this time also.  He includes some detail that Isaiah doesn’t… among the princes, will be one that we are all familiar with.  True believers will reign with Jesus, and among them the eighth son.  Who is it?  Ezekiel gives us the answer (Ezekiel 34:20-31).

Notice there will be those still living in the flesh (vs 6-8).  Even with Satan bound for this time (Revelation 20:1-3), and Jesus reigning in perfect righteousness together with the princes - some will continue to choose sin and folly despite the absence of Satans deception.  Now though, they will be seen for what they are, no more smoke and mirrors.  No more evil hearts hiding behind what appears on the surface to be noble.

“Then the eyes of those who see will no longer be closed, and the ears of those who hear will listen. The fearful heart will know and understand, and the stammering tongue will be fluent and clear. No longer will the fool be called noble nor the scoundrel be highly respected.” Isaiah‬ ‭32‬:‭3‬-‭5‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Do you look forward to that time?  We should!  Love you all!  Dig in!
