Jeremiah 33

Good Morning “One”.
Today we are in Jeremiah 33.

Israel and Judah had both lost their minds, forgotten their God and their covenant with them.  God didn’t!  He is clear in this chapter through Jeremiah.  After Israel and Judah are broken down and humbled, they will return to Him and He will restore them.  Their sins will be wiped out through The Blood of “The Lord our Righteous Savior” (Jeremiah 33:16).   His Kingdom will stand FOREVER!

God is ALWAYS Faithful… even when we are not!

“Give thanks to the Lord Almighty, for the Lord is good; his love endures forever.” (Jeremiah‬ ‭33‬:‭11‬)

Israel and Judah were / are - way off track.  In His love He does not / will not - leave them there.  When we commit our lives to Him through Jesus the same is true for us.  He desires that we come to Him humbly submitted.  If we are off track - He will bring us back too.  “Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.” 1 Peter‬ ‭5‬:‭6‬ ‭NIV‬‬

The US Military has a strategy when building our soldiers and army. First… break down the individual, strip their weaknesses, create a clean slate and eliminate civilian mindset.  Then… build them back up with a new foundation, a new identity, new confidence in a uniform goal and unified strategy.

It’s almost as if they took their blueprint from Scripture.  We are soldiers in a battle against evil.  It’s been that way from The Garden.  We have an enemy, and he ain’t playin (John 10:10, 1 Peter 5:8).

Winning the battle doesn’t come by holding on to our weaknesses, maintaining a civilian mindset, and seeking our own flesh.  No, the battle will be won as we humble ourselves, repent of our sin, and are unified with The Lord, through Jesus (John 15:4), unified in The Body of Believers, and focused on one goal (John 17:21-24).  We’re not in this alone!

Love you all!  Dig in!
